The South

Ahh, The South. The more I travel the more I appreciate living in The South. I love the trees, the softer pace of life, the softer edges on the people and their character. We feel so fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Every morning as I drive down the mountain to work I admire the valley with the winding river and surrounding mountains. Some days a fog is lifting from the valley, some days ice is hanging from the bluffs along the road, but my favorite is after a rainstorm when the water is rolling off the mountain creating waterfalls everywhere you look – a couple of which even come over the road a bit. The South is truly spectacular ~ and of course, we also have some great food! Come visit!
