The International Vegetarian is a blog for vegetarians and pescatarians who are self-proclaimed foodies. While finding vegetarian restaurants when traveling may not be difficult, finding restaurants that serve traditional and regional cuisine can be a challenge for those of us who maintain a plant-based diet. This is especially frustrating for those of us who enjoy long, leisurely dinners in well known or higher end restaurants. After a few too many trips to Europe with very few inspiring meals, The International Vegetarian was born. Now, part of the fun of planning our travels is researching the menus of great restaurants and scheduling many of our meals before we go. This blog contains reports and photos from restaurants we have visited, as well a those we have researched and would like to visit soon. Bon Appétit!
